Tim Alan- Make-Up Artist, Designer, Friend

Tim Alan is my good friend from New Jersey. Currently he is working with Jo Frost, of Supernanny fame, and he has just completed production on a super line of make up brushes "Chrysalis". He and I go way back, to when he originally did my make- up for my wedding, and then we met a few years later when we had little boutiques in the same small NJ town (Red Bank). He used to come over to visit me, in my pink palace and we would trade secrets, gossip, and he would always tell me when my hair looked good...
I don't see him enough....

Some interesting facts about Tim!
For the past 20 years, Timothy Alan has worked for some of your favorite magazines, TV shows and movies, applying make-up to the faces of celebrities ranging from Sarah Michelle Gellar to Helen Gurley Brown and from Katerina Witt to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He has also been instrumental in the creation and quality control of some of your favorite cosmetic companies, among them Face Fx Platinum, a make-up line designed to give any woman the same great looks he creates for models and actresses.

(Already, he is working on features and series and, of course, photo shoots with this unique line of beauty essentials.)
His volunteer work includes participation in the American Cancer Society's Look Good, Feel Better program, which puts him in touch with cancer patients to help them better deal with the side effects their treatment may have on their skin and hair.

He has also done work for battered women through several safe houses and is donating a portion of the proceeds from his first book, Two-Faced: Confessions of a Soap Opera Make-Up Artist (in stores in October) to Gilda's Club of New York.
