Or at least that is how the saying goes...I'm not sure if I believe it, because right now, it feels like I am being smothered.

Test results came back negative.

To say we are surprised would be a lie. I knew that as the day wore on, like before, the chances of getting good news was slim.

It doesn't make it hurt any less. We are trying to accept what are future now holds. Trying to think of moving on. Trying not to place blame. We did all we could do.

We were hoping for a miracle.
